The room was well-appointed and reasonably large and equipped with comfortable bed and space outside and a great view of the mountains as described. It had a microwave oven, an electric kettle, and a fridge. Amicable and accommodating staff who were always there to help.

The hotel with spotlessly clean and compact rooms, in a wonderful area, to the owner finding information about the area. Separate room with single bed, beautiful rural view plus space outside. The service in general was friendly. Particularly good and gorgeous location, just walking distance from everywhere.

We had a wonderful stay at this place on the outskirts, which provided us with enhanced comfort and quality services. The spacious living area and big windows allowed for plenty of natural light and stunning rural views. The separate bedrooms ensured we all had ample space and the beds were incredibly comfy. The owner, Alison, was extremely helpful and welcoming, offering valuable information about the surrounding area. We also appreciated the private outdoor area and the convenience of an undercover car park right outside our door. The clean and well-maintained unit, along with its beautiful rural view, made our stay even more enjoyable.
This venue is perfect for families looking for a luxurious and comfortable stay with quality services.

Impeccable cleanliness, great hotel facilities, peaceful location with amazing views, and friendly staff. The room was spotless, and the hotel had everything I needed for a comfortable stay. The parking area was ample, and I had no trouble finding a spot to park my car. The hotel's location was perfect - not in the bustling center of the city, but a quiet location with stunning views of the surroundings. The staff was helpful and friendly, always ready to answer any questions and ensure my stay was enjoyable.
There was nothing I didn't like. The hotel exceeded my expectations, and I had an amazing stay.

The motel offers a location on the outskirts of town, giving guests a sense of rural atmosphere. However, this also means it's quite a walk to get to the stores in town. On the bright side, it's right by the beach, making for a beautiful view. The owner is knowledgeable about the area and can give good tips for exploring. It's got a “faulty towers” charm to it that some might find endearing.
The motel lacks proper insulation, so noise from adjoining units can be heard loudly.

The location of the motel was perfect, just a short walk to the town stores and right by the beach. Waking up to sheep grazing outside my bedroom window was such a unique and delightful experience. The villas felt like a home away from home and provided great value for money. Plus, being only a short drive away from the Oparara Basin and Heaphy Track meant there were plenty of beautiful places to explore.
The kitchen facilities being in two places was a bit inconvenient. It would have been better to have everything in one location.

The location of the hotel was very convenient, close to the town center and main attractions. the staff was helpful and friendly. the room was quite spacious and had a comfortable bed. the hotel provided free Wi-Fi and parking space.
My stay was ruined by a few negative aspects. despite the room appearing clean, there were a lot of insects around the windowsills and floor.

Despite a few minor issues, we had a fantastic Easter weekend at this motel. The rural location was a breath of fresh air, and we loved the views of the nearby ranges. The rooms were clean, spacious, and comfortable, with everything we needed for a relaxing trip. The friendly staff gave us plenty of local information, including maps of nearby attractions and activities we could enjoy during our stay.
It was a shame that we experienced some noise from adjoining units during our stay. The plumbing issues, in particular, made it difficult to sleep at times, and we had to use earplugs to block out some of the noise.
Tourists from India often stay at these properties. Ideas for your future trips.
